Bertha Gay Cardon

Gay Cardon 1912 ~ 2007 Bertha passed away peaceably at the Rocky Mountain Health
Center May 5, 2007. She was born in Payson, Utah July 26, 1912. Her parents were
William Thorton Gay and Kjersti Peterson. Bertha married LeRoy Willard Cardon in
Provo, Utah August 3, 1933. She lived in Tooele for 69 years, she loved her
family and those who knew her. Bertha was head housekeeper for 17 years at the
Tooele Valley Rest Home. Survivors are Maureen (Jim) Palmer, Grantsville, Robert
LeRoy Cardon, Lakewood, CA; she had four grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren,
11 great great-grandchildren; brother Morden (Enone) Gay. Those who passed away
before her were her parents, husband, three sisters, and two brothers. Bertha
requested no funeral. There will be a viewing for family and friends Tuesday,
May 8, 2007 from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Tate Mortuary, 110 South Main Street,
Tooele. A dedication of her grave will follow at 1p.m. in the Tooele Cemetery.
